4 Things To Hate About Bottled Water October 12 2006
I received a forward from a friend at work which revealed the terrible truths about bottled water.
In summary:
- Bottled water is usaully not as good as municipal tap water. Cities have very strict requirements when producing water for a population. These requirements are usually not imposed on bottled water manufacturers.
- Bottled water is more expensive than tap water.
- The bottles are wasteful from landfill standpoint.
- Producing bottles and packaging uses energy which usually comes from a non-eco friendly energy source such as coal fired power plants.
